    We're home after an exciting week of skiing in Pila, Italy.
    The chalet is a 10 minute drive from the gondola up to the ski resort.
    Our accommodation, daily transfers, meals, drinks AND ski lessons were all provided by David and Jane Stanton and their niece Maria Stanton. A lovely personal service, delicious meals and I highly recommend them if you're thinking of a ski holiday. Oli went from complete beginner to going down a black run on his last day!
    The resort is beautiful, with views to Mont Blanc and Matterhorn and is suitable for beginners up to expert.
    We will be going back!!

    We had a very enjoyable week staying with Jane and David. Great teaching for all skiing abilities, spacious comfy accommodation and excellent food. Highly recommended to all for a great holiday. A fantastic location. Jane and David provided a great service from the moment we arrived and were a pleasure to be with. Would love to visit again.🎿

    Wonderful time staying with friends and people we hadn't met - chalet comfortable for us all - David, Jane and Maria were wonderful hosts, from being enthusiastic cooks to experienced ski teachers - a great balance which they do amazingly well! Could not really recommend them highly enough, great value, great fun, very relaxing - we WILL return!! xx

    Had a great week here in Pila.

    As a late starter to skiing, but hooked on the bug, I was looking for somewhere where I could practice and stretch my (albeit limited) skills.
    I found the slopes a great variety of gentle cruising and challenging steeps.

    And all thanks to David for showing me and other guests some of the latter!

    Jane, David and Maria are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble – ferrying us to lifts, town, restaurants etc.

    with the benefit slso of some grest home cooked meals.

    And I had the benefit of some wonderful company from other guests staying at the same time – both on the slopes and over meals and wine after a hectic day.

    Very much ‘home from home’.

    Will definitely visit again.

    Spent a week with a couple of friends and thoroughly enjoyed the week with Dave, Jane, Maria and Peluche. The mixture of ski tuition, free time, hospitality, excellent food and a couple of free evenings was perfect for us and we would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going on their own or as part of a group. The hospitality was very well organized as well as being very flexible.
    We will definitely be going again.
