25 Mar 2015We had an amazing week with Jane and David for our first family ski trip. It was everything we had hoped for-and more! Jane and David were perfect hosts and incredible ski instructors. Our 6 & 8 year olds were pelting down red runs by the end of the week and came home asking when we could go again! It was a great way to do skiing with part catered as it gave us some freedom to have family time now and again. Can't wait to go again. Andrea, Greg, Amelie, Jack and Ben

25 Jan 2015The property is conveniently located in Aosta with easy access to the town and lifts up to Pila. There is a bit of a drive up to it from the main road, but the views make it more than worthwhile! Rooms are very clean, maintained to a high standard and spacious, and there is plenty of additional room for storage, moving around and relaxing. This year see's the welcome addition of a jacuzzi and outside boot storage, both of which will really add to the experience, one we plan to come back to time and time again if they'll have us! Jane, David & the team are great hosts, really couldn't ask for more from them.
My Response
We are so glad they enjoyed staying with us - and yes they have booked again. The drive up from the main road is just 2 minutes, its quite steep but the roads are always cleared by the local council before we get up in the morning and in any event it only snows at the chalet around 4 times in the season.

January 18th - 25th 2015Everything is indeed done " with a personal touch" I am 76yrs old and , until visiting Pila and staying at Jane and David's Chalet and receiving lessons personalized to my skill level, had not enjoyed my full potential.There was a lovely family atmosphere at mealtimes shared with our hosts with Italian menus washed down with wine or beer! I did achieve one RED when I did not know it was red but disgraced myself on the final day when aware of what David was letting me into-"Its all in the mind " said he ! after I fell.But I did finish the Red successfully with his encouragement.

28 December 2014We had a great family skiing holiday over New Year. Our accommodation in the self-contained top floor was very comfortable. Jane, Dave and Louise looked after us very well from delicious evening meals and breakfasts, daily lifts to the funivia and a squash match! The skiing lessons were great. Dave and Jane know their stuff and are good at putting it across effectively. In short, would highly recommend the jdski experience!

11th January 2015We have just returned from a fabulous week skiing. As keen and regular skiers for twenty odd years, this was one of our best ski trips ever! Why? Large and pretty skiing area and not overpriced, trendy or pretentious. Resort based in a 'real' Italian town, not purpose built and focus just on skiing. Wonderful, warm and generous hospitality, food, wine and drink. Superb guiding and teaching as part of the deal. Warm, comfortable and homely chalet. Two super dogs who love a cuddle! And everything offered with a sense of care, fun and totally at clients and for clients needs. Fantastic value for money.

6th April 2014 for one weekHad a fantastic week with the Stantons, their niece Maria and Peluche in Aosta. This is a lovely area with the best of both worlds at this time of year; sunbathing at the chalet early evening and skiing in the mountains during the day. We were looked after very well. The difference that we noticed from other ski resorts is that it is not a rip-off. Eating out in the evening and on the mountain was so reasonable and the pistes were fairly quiet - it was lovely and we will go back. Our daughters who are 22, 20 and 12 loved it and skied part of the week and boarded for a couple of days; plenty of variety for everyone - a great holiday had by all!
